Snow Smack Mrak
Born Marcy Schwarteze-Temnota, she died at the young age of 17 after being raped by the man she would have loved if her world had been only slightly different. Her father, being the Chosen Warrior of Darkness, had sealed her fate - as well as the fates of her sisters and mother - simply because he cared for them. During an attempt to assassinate Peter Damian Schwrteze-Temnota (Marcy's father), Jistkaiso (the only remaining member of the Bas'Infic Council) sadistically brutalized Marcy. His intention was to merely threaten her life in hopes that Peter would leave hiding. But she struggled and flailed, and stuck Jistkaiso in the face. Having had "a really, fucking, bad day", Marcy's attempts at freeing herself merely pushed him over the edge. Losing all sight of what he had come to do, Jistkaiso decided to release all his pent-up rage on Marcy with his bare fists. Marcy's last sight before passing on was that of her father ramming a broken floor lamp into Jistkaiso's face.

This, however, was only the end of Marcy's life, not her existence.

Her soul was collected by Harvester Smith, who preceded to sell it to Soul Monger. Upon reviewing Marcy's life, Monger decided she would best serve the Forces of Darkness as a technician. Her soul was demonized, and placed in an undead body. However, there was a paperwork foul-up and she ended up in the body of a demon lych. Meanwhile her original body was given to the Formulative Magi. They converted it into a technician (as they were in high demand during the Underworld's 2nd technological revolution). The paperwork mishap was finally corrected and Marcy's soul was placed into the proper body type. Yet, just as it was with her mother: her soul wound up in her own body. This is a big "no-no" when it comes to creating loyal, fresh-minded troops in the afterlife. When a soul re-enters its original body, the soul permanently regains all its old memories. Upon regaining her memories, Marcy renamed herself Mrak and sought to avenge her own death (something she later gave up on).

Years passed.

After the defeat of Cynic (her ex-mother), Mrak held a brief stint as guardian to Cynic's prison. She quickly grew weary of this however, and chose to leave the panoptic duties in the capable grasp her ex-sister(s) Chernyi. She decided she'd like to explore, or possibly help humanity rebuild its societies. However, at the time, her body was not designed for such tasks. She had cybernetically enhanced herself back when the war had first began so she would never need to run or hide. This plan backfired however, as she became a permanent target for Cynic's army. She existed for years without ever being alone, always fighting off wave after wave of Iek'Eh, Iek'Eh Mal, and Bas'Infic. Eventually she assisted in the destructions of Malady (her other ex-sister) and the Pillars of Light. With these victories she finally found herself with time alone again.Much to her own surprise, it frightened her. She immediately went out in search of her own kind, hoping to form friends. Being the most powerful and knowledgeable of the technicians, however, made it difficult for her to find anyone who didn't fear her. Then, just prior to the final battle between Cynic and The Chosen Warrior of Darkness, Mrak finally met Rust Monger the Grave. He was the greatest leader the technicians ever knew, and perhaps the only one who didn't fear Mrak.

It was also about time when the Rikti invaded earth. With humanity engulfed in its own conflict, it did much to mask the battles between Light and Dark. Eventually Darkness triumphed and a semblance of peace was established between the Overworld and Underworld.

Certainly her existence had been extremely eventful up to this point, but only after meeting Rust Monger did she finally take the first step to realizing her unknown dreams.

Rust Monger assisted in the final defeat of Cynic and then returned to Mrak. Together they built new bodies for one another and decided to assist humanity. They were practically inseparable, one might even say they fell in love, though they would both deny it. They taught the living much about the technology the Underworld had created and it helped greatly to restore decent living conditions on earth.

It suddenly dawned on Mrak that even though helping the weak and abused felt rewarding it was not her passion. She felt drawn away, as if she had to go out and explore. Mrak told Rust Monger she was going. He plead with her, begged her to stay with him. Yet she always wanted to explore and discover, even as a little girl. She said goodbye, he cried for the first time.

Story as it appears in-game:
Born Marcy Schwarteze-Temnota, this girl died at the age of 17. Her soul was implanted within an Underworld technician, which was spawned from her corpse. Mrak played a key role in the defeat of the Cynic by plowing a path through her minions. Mrak then built herself a new body, mimicking her human form, and had her soul transferred to it. She now spends her immortal years dedicated to science, specifically weapons technology. However, she’s a little accident prone and tends to blow things up unintentionally.
